All Ages. We're bringing the library is coming to you this summer! Join your Youth Services librarians at Freedom Park (300 Charleston Drive in  New Lenox) for songs, stories, and other summer fun.

Ages 0–6  Outdoor Naturescape at the Library Grab your lawn chairs and blankets for our outdoor storytime. Dance around, listen to stories, sing songs, and hang out with us in our backyard.

Now is your opportunity to shine! The library will be hosting its first EVER open mic night for teens. Let's highlight your talents! We encourage a variety of performances: song, music, dance, comedy, poetry, or whatever else makes you shine!

Ages 6-12 with a caregiver (June 12, 19, & 26) Meet Outside the Cafe In this 3-week class, kids will learn to cast, bait, and take fish off the hook.

Calling all crocheters, community service seekers, and charitable hearts. Join the local NLOB chapter as we make mats for the homeless from plastic grocery bags. We have plenty of plarn ready to crochet into mats!
