Week Calendar

Ages 3 – 23 months Stories, music, action rhymes, and toy time for on-the-move babies with a caregiver. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door. 

Ages 1½ - 2 ½  Stories, music, and fun for the growing toddler with a caregiver. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Ages 3 months – 6 years Dance around, listen to stories, sing songs, play with instruments, then move and groove with your friends during toy time. No registration is required. Sign in on the Meeting Room door.

Ages 2 – 3½ Get ready for super stories, spectacular songs, and silly crafts. No registration is required.  Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Learn the basics of Apple's macOS X operating system from the desktop, menu bar, and dock to how clicking works, Finder, window management, keyboards and shortcuts, search, system preferences, and more.

Ages 3 – 36 months Stay after storytime for more toy time, or jump in and join us! There will be a unique out-of-the-box spin every week. No registration is required.  Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Join Master Jung of Jung’s Champion Tae Kwon Do for a dynamic and interactive self defense class for women.

Grades 3 – 6 Participate in cool experiments and learn a little something along the way.

  January 8: Hibernation Station Why doesn’t a polar bear have to wear mittens? Let’s learn about animals who live outside during the winter. Registration begins Dec. 4.

Grades 4 – 8 Your imagination mixes with art in this art club just for tweens.

VHs to camcorder tapes to DVD. Vinyl albums and cassette tapes to CD. Old fading photographs scanned in and made new again. Super 8 & 8mm film digitized and shared with family far and near.

Bring your machine and some fabric scraps or a project, and get practicing!  Staff is here to guide you, and we have fabric and some extras you can use, too.  To reserve a library sewing machine, call 815-495-2605 ext.

All ages with a caregiver Throw on your jammies for a family slumber party!

Hockey fans can meet Zach Whitecloud from the Chicago Wolves hockey team who will discuss his love of hockey and reading. Zach will share with fans his journey to success as well as the determination and hard work it took to reach his goals.

Ages 3 – 6 with a caregiver Hear a story and make a simple snack. Please inform staff of any food allergies during registration. No older or younger siblings please. Registration is for a 6-week session.
