Week Calendar

Ages 3 months - 23 months  Stories, music, action rhymes, and toy time for on-the-move babies with a caregiver. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.

Ages 1½ - 2 ½   Stories, music, and fun for the growing toddler with a caregiver. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.  Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Ages 3 months – 6 years Dance around, listen to stories, sing songs, play with instruments, then move and groove with your friends during toy time. No registration is required.

Ages 2 – 3½ Get ready for super stories, spectacular songs, and silly crafts. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

For ages 3 - 12 Come mingle with Maleficent, Captain Hook, the Evil Queen, and other baddies at our spooktacular bash.

Ages 3 – 36 months Stay after storytime for more toy time, or jump in and join us! There will be a unique out-of-the-box spin every week. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Grades 1 – 4 Calling all creative kids! Come create some awesome art and more. October 15: Funky Fingerpaint Process Art Registration begins Sept. 17.

Grades 4 – 8 Express yourself with our creative writing club for bold young writers.

Grades 4 – 6 Talk about books, have a snack, and do fun activities. Pick up books at the Circulation desk. Registration begins Sep. 20.

Practice your computer skills in an encouraging group setting with dedicated staff instruction. Bring your laptop or tablet with you; limited number of laptops on site. To reserve a library laptop (Mac or Windows), call 815-485-2605 ext.

All Ages with a caregiver Throw on your jammies for a family slumber party! Cuddle up for stories featuring your favorite book characters and make a fun craft based on the character of the week.

Come join us for a round of BINGO! We will have small prizes for those who manage to get a B-I-N-G-O!  Registration required and is now open.

Ages 3 – 6 with a caregiver Hear a story and make a simple snack. Please inform staff of any food allergies during registration. No older or younger siblings please. Registration is required and begins Aug.

Grades K – 2 Join us for Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s.
