Week Calendar

Ages 3 – 23 months  Stories, music, action rhymes, and toy time for on-the-move babies with a caregiver.

Ages 1½ - 2 ½ Stories, music, and fun for the growing toddler with a caregiver. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door

Ages 3 months – 6 years Dance around, listen to stories, sing songs, play with instruments, then move and groove with your friends during toy time. No registration is required.

Ages 2 – 3½ Get ready for super stories, spectacular songs, and silly crafts. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Ages 3 – 36 months Stay after storytime for more toy time, or jump in and join us! There will be a unique out-of-the-box spin every week. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Ages 2 – 3½ Get ready for super stories, spectacular songs, and silly crafts. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Ages 3 ½ - 6 Get wacky with a song and silly stories, then wrap it all up with some creative mischief. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Grades K – 4 We supply the bricks; you bring the ideas! Come build your own creation with friends, or make a vehicle to race down a track. We’ll display your creations for everyone to see!

The Library will be showing Spiderman Homecoming! Peter Parker is back! This Queens high school student is trying to balance his ordinary life with his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man!

Paper, vinyl, iron-ons and more: we’ll make a craft using the Silhouette Cameo electronic cutter. Registration required.

Jamie Viebach, from Naperville’s Conservation Foundation will present on using native plants to help the local ecosystem and prevent flooding. All plants are the same, right?  Wrong!

Ages 3 – 6 with a caregiver Hear a story and make a simple snack. Please inform staff of any food allergies during registration. No older or younger siblings please.

Grades K – 2 Join us for Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s.

Soaring skyscrapers, deep-dish pizza, and improv comedy may be what the city is best known for, but they are only the beginning of Chicago’s story. It could take a lifetime to experience everything this one-of-a-kind town has to offer.

All ages with a caregiver It’s a family slumber party! Throw on your jammies, grab your favorite stuffie, and cuddle up for storytime fun, a craft, and a bedtime snack. No registration is required.
