1st-4th grade. Create some awesome art with a step-by-step video to help you create a masterpiece. THEME: Fall Paper Weaving

Learn to better navigate your smartphones and apps. Please register for a 30-minute time slot in advance to receive one-on-one assistance.

Always wanted to learn how to sew? Join Rachael as she teaches a different project each month, helping you gain different skills when it comes to sewing with a machine or by hand. Registration required.

Ages 4-6. Sing along with songs, listen to fun stories, then wrap it all up with a hands-on art project. Caregivers may sign-in participants and stay within the youth department during the duration of the program.

Join our long-running book club as they discuss a different mystery each month! Stop at the Patron Services desk to pick up a copy of the book at any time. 

4th -8th grade. Come chat about this month's graphic novel selection while creating a unique craft. Pick up books at the Patron Services desk. BOOK: Four Eyes by Rex Ogle

Ages 3-7 with a caregiver. Throw on your jammies for a family slumber party! Grab your favorite stuffed animal and cuddle up for bedtime stories and a simple craft. No children younger than 3 years, please.

Business book club meets at the New Lenox Library the third Wednesday of every month from 9:30am-11am.

Ages 0-6 years with caregiver. Listen to stories and explore music while we dance around and sing songs.

Ages 7-12. Make the world a better place with fun projects and activities that will help spread kindness and leave smiles along the way. ACTIVITY: Motivational Swag for High School Finals

Are you "thready" to get embroidering? Register to learn how to use the Embroidery Machine to personalize different materials.

Join local writers to discuss and workshop your writing. The group welcomes those new to the art as well as those with experience.

Join Chef Art Smith to learn about his culinary journey and bring some culinary inspiration into your holiday season.

Ages 2-3 with caregiver. This storytime for twos and threes will have your toddler singing and dancing while making new friends along the way. Siblings are welcome.

4th-8th grade. Join Ms. Kyra in The Studio to craft and create using the Silhouette Cameo, sublimation printer, heat press, and more! All supplies will be provided. THEME: Sublimation Cocoa Mugs

Join us for our monthly Teen Advisory Group meeting. Come prepared to discuss programming ideas, your favorite reads, video gaming, and more. TAG is a great way to earn service hours and make a difference in your Library community!

Ages 5-6. Calling all budding artists! Come listen to a story and follow along to create a fun drawing each month!

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing, weaving, looming and other fiber arts projects for a social evening with other adults. Don't have anything in the works?

Ages 1-3 with caregiver. A fun, hands-on experience perfect for the littlest patrons, Play-Doh Playtime is sure to bring out your child's creativity and imagination. Leave the mess to us in this drop-in style program!

All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Get to know some other homeschool families in the area while playing games, trying out hands-on activities, and more!

Do you enjoy the sweeter things in life? Join us for a tournament of games– all about candy! There will be a Razzle relay, a blindfold jelly bean taste test, a gumdrop construction contest, candy concentration game, and more.

Introverts unite, quietly! This will be a low-key social group where talking isn't required and your presence is enough. 

Every 4th Sunday of the month, we'll put on calm music, and provide a chilled-out atmosphere. 

Ages 6 months-23 months with caregiver.  This sweet storytime is filled with books, songs, rhymes, and bubbles! Siblings are welcome
