Ages 5-13  Get to know other homeschool families in the area while playing games, trying out hands-on activities, and more!  Siblings are welcome to attend, but activities will be geared towards school-age children.

Look for the Library's Table at Christmas in the Commons! We will have games, prizes, and small crafts!

Join us for a delightful afternoon of singing along to a children's favorite movie musical. Families attending are welcome to bring their own picnic blankets and snacks.  Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

1st-4th grade. Create some awesome art with a step-by-step video to help you create a masterpiece. THEME: Optical Illusion Art

Always wanted to learn how to sew? Join Rachael as she teaches a different project each month, helping you gain different skills when it comes to sewing with a machine or by hand. Registration required.

3rd-6th grade. Make friends and get creative at this three week Dungeons and Dragons campaign perfect for beginner and experienced players alike.

Join our long-running book club as they discuss a different mystery each month! Stop at the Patron Services desk to pick up a copy of the book at any time.

Business book club meets at the New Lenox Library the third Wednesday of every month from 9:30am-11am.

Join local writers to discuss and workshop your writing. The group welcomes those new to the art as well as those with experience.

Join us every other month for the BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) Book Club for adults: a stress-free book discussion with no required reading!

4th-8th grade. Join Ms. Kyra in The Studio to craft and create using the Silhouette Cameo, sublimation printer, heat press, and more! All supplies will be provided. THEME: Acrylic Keychains

Ages 5-6. Calling all budding artists! Come listen to a story and follow along to create a fun drawing each month!

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing, weaving, looming and other fiber arts projects for a social evening with other adults. Don't have anything in the works?

Ages 2-12 with caregiver. Don't be a Grinch! Throw on your favorite holiday jammies, grab a snack, and cuddle up with a cozy blanket while watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"!

Introverts unite, quietly! This will be a low-key social group where talking isn't required and your presence is enough. 

Every 4th Sunday of the month, we'll put on calm music, and provide a chilled-out atmosphere. 

Ages 3-12  Tis the season for Gingerbread Houses! Children and their families are invited to join us for an evening of Gingerbread House crafting, milk and cookies, and letters to Santa.

Ages 4-10. Hear a story and follow along with Ms. Kyra's video to make a simple snack. THEME: Hot Cocoa Cups

3rd-5th grade. The Bluestem Award is an Illinois Readers' Choice Award program for students in 3rd through 5th grade.
