Looking for a new love this Valentine’s Day? Come meet rescue pets of all shapes and sizes! A study revealed that those who spent more time with dogs experienced a 300% increase in oxytocin levels, also known as the love hormone. A whopping 87% of Americans were reported as happier than the average person because of owning a pet. Attending an adoption event is a great way to get to interact with cats and dogs in an open environment, play with them, walk them around, and give them lots of love! Enjoy fun “love” themed activities for the whole family. Please bring an item from NAWS wish list to the open house.
