Join Soapy Roads of Lombard for this Natural Soapmaking Class! Learn about the properties of natural soaps including color, fragrance, and add-ins like plants & clay. Make your own melt-and-pour soap to take home and embed it with semi-precious gemstones!

Pre-registration for this workshop will close Friday, April 28th at 3:00 PM. If there are any remaining seats, you may register in-person the day of the event at the Maker Day Classes check-in booth starting at 10:00 AM.

Brooke & Joe Bingaman are a husband-and-wife maker team. Collectively they have been making soap for over two decades. In 2017, they brought their knowledge together to form, Soapy Roads of Lombard, with the goal to make a better soap for you and the environment. Soap With a Clean Conscience is their slogan and guiding principle. They are committed to natural soap education and specialize in live soap-making events.

This workshop is part of Maker Day. Registration is required for workshops only. The rest of the event is open to all ages from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM! Visit https://www.newlenoxlibrary.org/makerday for more details.
