This group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. Learn about using different online databases, breaking through “brick walls,” obtaining vital records, and documenting and organizing your family research. Come share your family research success stories and continue to increase the “branches” on your family tree! 

Monthly Topic: Great Lake Regional Archives, Getting the Most Out of Your Visit

The Great Lakes Regional Archives in Chicago has a wealth of genealogical information for family history researchers of all levels. Resources, both onsite and online, can provide new avenues to further your family tree. Onsite Record Collections include hundreds of 20th-century city directories not found online, naturalizations, court papers, maritime records, and Native American genealogical resources. The National Archives online offer millions of digitized records including photographs, maps, letters, and much more. Come discover what the National Archives has to offer the family historian!
