Sat., July 24 – Sat., July 31 Kids + Adults Mooommmm, I’m Bored! Date night…what’s that? You’ve finally got some time to yourself, now what? What are we going to do for fun this weekend? Do you need an idea or three to get you back out exploring the world? We’ve gotcha covered! I mean we are the LIBRARY… the magical place of knowledge and discovery after all. BUT, HOW IS THE LIBRARY GOING TO BRING US THIS MAGIC?
Think of us providing you with an “I’m Bored Jar”, but better. We want to help you make memories and maybe inspire a new friend/couple/family tradition. Explore either our Adult (upstairs) or Kid (main floor) "Choose Your Own Adventure" boards. Do a little eeny, meeny, miny, moe, to decide which colorful envelope you want to choose from, and just go for it. Post a photo on our Facebook or Instagram social media pages using the hashtag #nlpladventure (include the activity card in the pic) and show yourself doing the activity for your chance to win one of four prize baskets filled with amazing entertainment that will get you started on another day of fun. *Winners must be able to pick up their prize basket from the Library
